Best Tourist Attraction In Bijapur | karnataka tourism 1)  GOL GUMBAZ The second biggest dome in the world appears to every one's eyes towards the height of sky, around some kilometers from Bijapur city. This is the very wonderful monument among the memorable architecture of Adilshahis build by Mohammed Adilshahi the 7th ruler of Adil Shahi dynastry between 1626-1656. It contains within a walled enclosed by four lofty walls towards height 100ft. on top a whispering gallery of 38 mtrs. around its base.  The remarkable feature is a slightest whisper also hearing in magnified ten times. Around the outside the dome, between the tops of the arches and the parapet is a notable feature and considered a daring step in the engineering in country.  At the raised flat form in between the square hall are the replica tombs of Mohammed Adilshah and his family.
